Biography

Marc developed a PhD Thesis (Sept 2011 - Dec 2015) in the Signal Processing and Communications group at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where he obtained his Telecommunications Engineering degree and Master's degree in 2011 and 2013, respectively. The thesis follows from the idea of Interference Alignment, and its application to the study of Wireless Multi-user Networks in the context of Network Information Theory. In parallel, he participated in some off-thesis activities in the UPC: 1) the TROPIC European Project (http://www.ict-tropic.eu), aiming to exploit the femto-network infrastructure and cloud computing paradigms for virtualisation/distribution of applications and services, 2) as teaching assistant/lecturer in the Pattern Recognition course at the UPC, and 3) guiding students for developing a network planning tool in the context of the TUCAN3G european project (http://www.ict-tucan3g.eu).
