Biography

Ahmed Raafat received his B.Sc in 2011 from Electronics and Communication Engineering at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He received M.Sc. in 2014 from wireless intelligent network center (WINC), Nile University, Giza, Egypt.

In Fall 2011 he worked as a research assistant in wireless communication at Nile University. In Fall 2013 he worked as a teacher assistant at the department of mathematics at Ain Shams University.

Since 2016 he worked as early stage researcher in the 5Gwireless International Training Network (ITN) in the SPCOM research group at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain.

His main research interests include, precoding and channel estimation for MIMO mmWave wireless systems.
