The 5GSmartFact project opens 14 PhD positions in Industry 4.0 enabled by 5G in several locations across Europe

5GSmartFact is an MSCA-ITN European Industrial Doctorate that features a consortium of academia (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Aalborg University), research centres (i2Cat, Centre National pour la Recherche Scientifique), 5G companies (NEC, Nokia, Siradel) and companies in factory automation (ABB, Robert Bosch, Ingeniarius, Roboception), together with supporting institutions (ESADE, Universidade de Coimbra, Université Paris-Saclay).

Contracts will be full-time, have a 3-year duration and include social security coverage. Selected candidates will embark on a doctorate programme, share their time between at least two of the entities of the consortium and benefit from high-quality academic and industrial training and networking activities. Competitive salaries are offered.
